Surrounds our farmstead, and covers 15 municipalities in the province of Padua. It is an ideal area for excursions and outings filled with steep slopes and gentle hills where for centuries olive trees and vines have been cultivated. Durmast ash and chestnut woods vary with calcareous meadows and waterfalls.
Inside the park you can admire rare botanical species such as the Ruta Patavina (Paduan Rue) and dwarf prickly pear; you will see foxes, pheasants, hares, moles and over 130 types of birds.
The presence of fortifications and monasteries, noble homes and traces of human settlements dating back 35 million years, make this park an interesting nature, historical and cultural site. Famous people such as Petrarch, Byron and Shelly, Ugo Foscolo and many others have stayed here.
Trails. They are marked inside the Park and have different difficulty levels. They may be crossed by foot, on horseback or mountain bike; we will be pleased to give you maps, information and expert guides.

Do not hesitate to ask for advice and suggestions regarding the numerous gardens in the Province of Padua, extraordinary examples of monumental and vegetation architecture; an age-old art that has helped make famous our architects all over the world. Some of the gardens of the VENECIAN AND PALLADIAN VILLAS are close to the Euganean Hills and easily accessible from Terre Bianche.
If you are staying at our farmstead, we suggest that you visit the monasteries, the convents and sanctuaries that enrich our hills and the province of Padua, that has always been an important religious center. The magical atmospheres of these age-old places of worship still today surprise visitors; many are less than 10 km from Agriturismo Terre Bianche.
A vacation spent at the Agriturismo Terre Bianche will allow you to visit some of the most beautiful cities in Italy and Veneto region. A few kilometers separate you from the charm of Venice and from the lagoon that surrounds it. Padua is even closer, a city rich with culture, with its historic University and Botanical Garden, the Scrovegni Chapel with frescoes by Giotto and the Basilica of Sant’Antonio, filled with works by Donatello. Furthermore, you may grab a great cup of coffee at the Caffè Pedrocchi, one of the symbols of the Italian re-birth period. Vicenza is also very close by, city designed by Palladio, famous for its wonderful villas and Olympic Theater. In an hour you can also reach Treviso and Verona.
The Veneto region has always been a land of age-old culinary traditions thanks to its surf and turf recipes accompanied by wines appreciated worldwide: from Prosecco to all’Amarone, to Soave to the Rossi (or red wines) of the Euganean Hills and Treviso area.
During the year, in the surrounding territories, festivals and fairs dedicated to typical Venetian products are organized along with visits of wine cellars, wine-making companies and oil mills of the Euganean Hills. Main events >>>
